Governors
Our Governing Body makes key decisions for our school which are in the best interests of the children, staff and community of St Budeaux. Fulfilling the role of Governor is enormously rewarding, we are very lucky to have a Governing body with a multitude of skills.
Our Governing Body is structured in line with the minimum requirements of the Constitution of Governing Bodies of Maintained Schools. We have a flat structure (i.e. no standing committees) and therefore meet regularly as a Full Governing Body, and as elected panels and committees as needed. Currently our board consists of 10 governors, which is split as follows:
- Headteacher
- 3 Parent Governors
- 1 LA Governor
- 1 Staff Governor
- 3 Co-opted Governors
- 1 Foundation Governor
- Clerk to the Governors
